12oz Frozen Fruit (in a bag from the market or fresh and pre frozen)
1/4 Cup Lime Juice (fresh tastes better, but do what you can)
3/4 Cup Silver Tequila
2 Tbs Cointreau (or Triple Sec or Grand Marnier or other Orange Licquer)
2 Tbs Sugar or Sugar Substitute
1 Cup Ice if you like it more icy and less smoothie textured
I finally decided I was tired of spending money when I wanted a Margarita and started making my own. This is a simple recipe and is extremely versatile as you can use a fruit you like, tequila you like and customize it to your own preferences. Leave out the orange liquer if you like, add sugar, add extra fruits… The options are endless!
