Sauteed Collard Greens


1 Bunch Collard Greens

3 cloves Garlic, pressed

1-2 Tbsp Grapeseed Oil

1/2 Lemon (cut into wedges, to be juiced as needed)

1 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (or more if you like things spicy)


This literally takes three minutes.


Step 1: Heat Oil in a large saute pan over medium high heat.

Step 2: Add Collard greens and stir continuously as they cook.  After 1-2 minutes add pureed garlic, and continue stirring.  Cook for another 2 minutes and then stir in crushed pepper flakes.  Remove from heat and allow to slightly cool.

Serve with lemon wedge and a whole grain like quinoa.  Enjoy!
