Hi, I am Lisa! I am a therapist by day and a foodie, artist, health nerd and cat lover by night.
I work helping people deal with addictions, mental health problems, and a slew of other concerns related to self esteem, stress, relationships and communication to name a few. I currently work three jobs, am working to build a private practice AND have become a holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition because I wanted to learn to help my clients in more ways that one, and because I love food!
In life I am always working towards growth and satisfaction and this often motivates me to work hard, take leaps of faith and take action towards the things that I desire. I hope to use this blog to share my adventures in health be they emotional, physical or spiritual, as I believe each of these aspects of our lives contributes to how happy and healthy (or conversely ill and depressed) we are. I don’t know about you, but I continue to work to feel peace, fulfillment and happiness in all areas of life and I hope to share my adventures and what I learn along the way with you. In life the journey is the destination, so it is with this perspective that I invite you to join me as I find new ways to eat and improve my overall well being.
